Immigration Update—Changes on the Way? NADA Fighting Intrusive New Federal Rules FRB Delays New Small Business Data Collection and Reporting Requirement for Dealers NADA has been successful in persuading the Federal Reserve Board to issue a final rule that temporarily exempts motor vehicle dealers engaged in indirect (three-party) vehicle financing transactions from a new, comprehensive data collection and reporting requirement that is mandated by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

North Alabama Dealer Summits Moved ADAA has pushed back the dates of its North Alabama Dealer Summits to ensure that they are held after a federal judge in Birmingham has decided whether or not to block enforcement of Alabama’s new immigration law. Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn is expected to rule on or before September 28, the previous date of the first Summit, whether to issue a stay for all or parts of the law. The new Summit dates will allow ADAA to provide the latest information
